RIYADH – Saudi Arabia celebrates Saudi Arabia’s National Day for the first time on the Metaverse platform.  Online celebrations include a computer-generated museum displaying artifacts from various parts of the kingdom.

Players can buy Invulnerable Token (NFT) outfits for their virtual avatars, which are modeled after traditional Saudi outfits from different regions.

Anyone who attends can collect a ‘Protocol of Attendance’ (POAP) digital badge that confirms their attendance at the event.

The event will be held from September 22 to 24 at the Metaverse Decentraland stage, and Saudi Arabia’s National Day will be celebrated on September 23. 

This event is organized by marketing agency The Bold Group in collaboration with the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Partnerships (BLOOD).

“Disruptive technologies like Metavarus are the future, and we at The Bold Group aim to be key players in that evolution,” said Ziad Abourjaili, director of innovative technologies at Blood Development, in a statement.

Decentraland is a Metaverse platform built on Ethereum blockchain technology.

It allows users to buy virtual slots and exchange virtual currency while playing the game.

Land holdings and other NFTs are tracked on the public Ethereum ledger.
